Search for a REALTOR® Looking at homes Location and condition Glossary |
Search for a REALTOR®In your search for a home, a REALTOR® will help you find a home that fits your needs and may be able to provide specific community information on shopping, schools, property tax rates, and more. They may also suggest reputable and qualified lenders to use. The REALTOR® is typically the one who shows you homes, prepares an offer for you, presents your offer to purchase a home to the seller, negotiates and many other things. The offer specifies a date in which you state that you are satisfied with the availability, terms, conditions and cost of a new loan of the home. It's important for you to know your mortgage options before you write an offer.
You do not usually pay for the REALTOR's® services. Instead, the seller of the house typically pays the commission based on the selling price of the home. Generally you will enlist the help of a REALTOR® to assist you throughout the entire transaction. For a definition of working relationships in Colorado, click here. |
